If you use a Telenor postpaid plan and you have relatives, who use the Telenor prepaid services, you probably are responsible for topping up their credit.
Just by a single SMS, a single call to number 123, through Telenor menu or through MyTelenor web portal you may forget about that responsibility and your relatives will always have available credit at any time.Telenor will take care of it on your behalf!
 
You may prefer a single top up or you may choose to make a top up subscription.

You may choose a single top up of a Telenor prepaid card in one of the following ways:

  • By SMS:

    Send a free text message to number 1818 with content “08XXXXXXXX,Y”

    08ХХХХХХХХ is the number of the recipient and Y is the total amount, a whole number between 6 and 15 BGN, which you’d wish to add to the prepaid card. The separate components of the message (the number of the recipient and the amount) need to be separated by comma, with no intervals in-between.

  • Through the Telenor menu:

    On your phone’s keyboard, type *123# and press the calling button.
    There will be a menu, appearing on the phone screen, with options for different checks and other available services:

    Select 8 (Prezarezhdane) for prepaid card top up and press the calling button. During the next two steps, you need to consecutively enter the number of the recipient and the amount in BGN (in whole numbers between 6 and 15 BGN) and wait for the result of the transaction.

  • Through the МyTelenor web portal:

    It is necessary to be registered in the MyTelenor web portal.

    Load my.telenor.bg on your computer or smartphone, enter your mobile number and the password for website access, and select consecutively “Online Payment” and “Single Top Up”. During the following steps, please enter the number of the prepaid card, which you’d wish to top up, and the code, which you have received by SMS, sent to your number.

The top up subscription allows you to top up automatically a Telenor prepaid card on a monthly basis, every time on the same date.

You may activate or deactivate a subscription for automatic top up in one of the following ways:

  • By calling the Customer Service Department

    In order to activate a subscription for automatic top up, dial 123 and dictate to our Prepaid Customer Service Department representative the number, which credit balance you’d like to top up, the amount and the date of the month, when you’d like the top up to be executed. If you wish to deactivate an existing subscription, dictate the above information, along with a clarification that you’d like to have it deactivated.

  • By SMS:

    If you wish to activate or deactivate a subscription for automatic top up for a Telenor prepaid service customer’s number, by SMS, please send a free text message to number 1818 with content, respectively “А08XXXXXXXX,Y,Z” for activation and “D08XXXXXXXX,Y,Z” for subscription deactivation;

    The Latin letter А indicates that you’d like to activate a subscription, and D respectively, stands for deactivation. 08ХХХХХХХХ is the number of the recipient, Y is the total amount, a whole number between 6 and 15 BGN, which you’d wish to add to the prepaid card , and Z is a whole number between 1 and 28, which indicates the date of the month, when you’d like the top up to be executed.

    The separate components of the message (the number of the recipient, the amount and the date) need to be separated by comma, with no intervals in-between. Between the letter А and the number of the prepaid card, there is no interval or comma.

    Example:

    А08ХХХХХХХХ,6,8

    А stands for subscription, 08ХХХХХХХХ is the prepaid number, 6 is the total top up amount, and 8 indicates that you’d like the top up to be executed on the 8th of each month.

    D08ХХХХХХХХ,6,8

    D stands for deactivation of subscription, 08ХХХХХХХХ is theprepaid number, 6 is the total top up amount, and 8 indicates that you’d like the top up to be executed on the 8th of each month.

  • Through the МyTelenor web portal:

    In order to activate or deactivate a subscription for automatic top up of a Telenor prepaid card, you need to be registered in the МyTelenor web portal. If you still do not have an account in the web portal, see how to register.

    Load my.telenor.bg on your computer or smartphone, enter your mobile number and the password for website access, and select consecutively “Online Payment” from the menu “My Services” and “Subscription for Automatic Top Up”. During the following steps, please enter the number of the prepaid card, which you’d wish to top up, the top up amount, the date, when you’d like the top up to be executed, and the code, which you have received by SMS, sent to your number.

Your number, as well as the number of the recipient, must comply with the following conditions so that your request for transfer of credit to be successful:

In case that the sending number is on a postpaid plan of Telenor:

It must be an active number, provided under a contract for mobile services with Telenor, signed more than 95 days before the time of request;
The card holder must be a natural person;
A single Telenor subscriber has the right to make a single top up of a number, which uses the Telenor prepaid service, with credit at the total value of not more than 15 BGN, for a period of 24 hours, and not more than 30 BGN for a period of 7 days;
A single Telenor subscriber has the right to activate a subscription for automatic top up of a number, which uses the Telenor prepaid service, with credit at the total value of not more than 15 BGN, for a period of 24 hours, and not more than 30 BGN for a period of 7 days;
A single Telenor subscriber has the right to activate a subscription for up to two automatic top ups of Telenor prepaid cards per month.

The limits for single top up and subscription top up are different.

For the recipient number on credit:

It must be a number, which uses the Telenor prepaid service;
The limit for service use must not be exceeded. A single user of the Telenor prepaid service may be topped up with credit of a total value of not more than 30 BGN for a period of 7 days.

The limits for single top up and subscription top up are different.

It's important to know:

At successful top up, regardless of the way, through which it has been performed and the type (single or automatic), both sides will receive a confirmation SMS, and after that the recipient will be able to use the received credit within the validity period of his prepaid card.
At successful activation or deactivation of a subscription, both sides will receive a confirmation SMS.
If you have completed a subscription for automatic top up, but on the date of top up you do not have sufficient credit limit or you have restricted calls, the top up will not proceed on that date, but your subscription will remain valid and there will be no need for renewal. The top ups will continue until you decide to deactivate your subscription.

How much does it cost

The top up amount is paid through your monthly bill, issued by Telenor. In your detailed printout, you may find the top up with its value and date.

Amounts for Top Up

You may select an amount, which is a whole number between 6 and 15 BGN, VAT inclusive.

(In the MyTelenor web portal, the available amounts for top up are 6,10 and 15 BGN).

The top up amount is paid through your monthly bill, issued by Telenor. In your detailed printout, you may find the top up with its value and date.
